This postcard is a reproduction of a classic absinthe poster once popular over 100 years ago. The original posters were typically quite large and colorful. This well-known design features an advertisement for Robette absinthe. The iconic absinthe image features Henri Privat-Livemont's famous scantly clad woman lifting a glass of absinthe up as to give thanks to a higher power. The 1896 artwork is a wonderful example of classic Art Nouveau.
The back of the postcard has an ample amount of space for a written message on the left, while the right side features preset lines for the recipient's name and address.
