This rooster finial is a reproduction of a vintage 19th century piece, originally made famous for its use on absinthe fountains used to promote Absinthe Terminus (a popular 19th century French absinthe). These fountains are extremely rare and hard to find intact with their original glass bowl.

The fleuron fits most 4- and 6-tap fountains sold in the USA. It is not suitable for fountains imported from Europe. The finial replaces the original finial on your fountain lid.
