This set of 6 absinthe distillery prints features reproductions of original absinthe labels from the late 19th century. These pieces were printed using a 4-color offset press, meaning that each color was applied separately. This printing method would have been the same as that used to produce the original labels. The colors and image are crisp and vibrant. Silver or gold metallic inks were used in the printing process on the absinthe branches and leaves, adding to the authentic look and feel of the prints. The use of metallic inks creates a rich, glossy finish and an authentic look. The photos above do not feature metallic inks.
